COMO 2020 is a poster to advertise the XXVI CSAV Artists’ Research Laboratory in Como, Italy. The workshop is an experimental platform designed to provoke formal and informal discussions and exchanges among artists of different generations and nationalities, and this year led by American artist, John Knight.

The poster explores Lake Como as a destination, putting a twist on traditional travel advertising through the use of printed four-colour neon stock imagery of the lake, subverting colour tones found in traditional CMYK printing.

Bold and friendly humanist sans-serif lettering was created for the title, playing on the typographic styling of holiday posters historically found in the area.
