The third iteration of MANIFESTO MANIFESTED: for a New Landscape and of Our Current Condition, published to correspond with the exhibition undo undo undo, the artists first with Pilar Corrias in London.

The text began in 2018, with a second version published in 2019. Adopting a contradictory tone, the manifesto abstracts and questions humankind’s current condition – affected by technology and globalisation, our over-reliance on artificial intelligence, automation and computation – and provides insight into the paradoxes, inconsistencies and absurdities crucial to the Zhang’s research and practice.

This new iteration forms an evolution of the previous graphic language. Typeset in an office-style body text and paired with a bold and characterful title. The use of colour creates further impact and a sense of urgency.
