During the many 21st century pandemics, humans could not get access to good sex and would hang around dumps and in public gardens waiting for passing trade. Some were compelled to use them as a shelter for themselves and their belongings. Many had always lived there.

A Mellow Drama is a dramatic adventure set in Poplar, London, E14. It confronts, through a sly science fictional twist, our need for re-imagining more than social encounters.

The book utilises typographic arrangements and full-bleed pages of environmental photography, edited to use a metallic gold ink that draws out details within the autumnal leaves and squirrels. Overlayed with a clear varnish that comes to the fore when light hits the pages.
